Ed Reed Turkey Day
It was another successful Ed Reed Turkey Day on Friday. Check out the story that ABC 2 did about the event here!
Recently, the SEED School of Maryland began using an assessment called the MAP Test.
- The attached document answers some of the big "what" and "why" questions about MAP testing and gives a few suggestions for how parents can support students meeting their growth goals.
- There will be informational sessions for high school parents about the MAP test and how to interpret student scores Wednesday, November 19th from 7:00-8:00 pm and the following Friday, November 21st from 1:00-2:00 pm
Parent Teacher Conference Sign-Ups
The SEED School of Maryland would like to invite you to attend a conference with your child’s teachers. Conferences are being held on Tuesday, November 4th from 1-4 PM and Wednesday, November 5th from 5-8 PM. This will give you an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the progress your child is making as well as pick up your child’s report card for the first quarter.
Get Financially Ready for College Day
Thanks to the creative mind of Kerry Richardson, Director of College Counseling at SEED DC, we decided to have a Saturday financial education event for ALL SEED students and families (grades 9-12). We are affectionately referring to the event as, “Get Financially Ready for College Day”. The event will take place at The SEED School of Washington, DC on Saturday, October 18 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. Because it is a Saturday event, we are confident that our SEED MD families (especially those living in Prince George’s County) will be able to join us on the SEED DC campus. What a way to bring the SEED community together!
