RISE to the occasion

SEED ensures student success with an outstanding college preparatory curriculum.

Our highly qualified staff delivers rigorous instruction aligned with the Maryland College and Career Readiness Standards. Students receive personalized attention to assist them in their academic and social growth and are assigned an advisor to help guide and support them throughout the school year.

As a Title 1 school, SEED Maryland is constantly expanding and diversifying the curriculum and educational offerings to students. We have the fundamental belief that if we set high expectations for all of our students, they will rise to the challenge with the support system that has been built into the culture of SEED Maryland.

At SEED, we strive to meet every student's needs to ensure they thrive and succeed including in our special education program.

Gearing up for College

As students grow academically, the curriculum becomes more challenging to ensure readiness for entry into college. Students in grades 9–12 undertake a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, including opportunities to participate in Advanced Placement courses, Dual Enrollment through Morgan State University, BCCC, and the Community College of Baltimore County, and senior year internships.
