SEED students DEPEND on your support.

The SEED School of Maryland thrives thanks to the collective generosity of individuals, communities, businesses, and philanthropic partners who believe in the power of education to uplift lives. Together, we’re building a strong foundation for SEED scholars by expanding access to opportunity and sustaining a program designed to support long-term student success.

Counseling Through College

Our students’ journeys are not finished on high school graduation day, so neither are we. From their senior year through their college graduation, every SEED graduate has a staff member dedicated to mentoring them through their journey.

Access & Opportunity

Learning outside of the traditional classroom is a critical part of the SEED’s career focused curriculum.  Students are provided with opportunities such as internships, study abroad program and community partner programs.

They gain exposure to environments that help them emerge ready for the career of their choice.

91% of our students enroll in a 4-year college after they graduate.

Featured Gift: The Cyber Lab

Through the generous support of our donors we are able to give our students a competitive edge in the world's most trending career—cyber security.

Providing enrichment programs focused on technology design, robotics, and cyber security—The Cyber Lab is a fully functioning SOC (Secure Operating Center), makerspace to teach students about 3D Design and Fabrication, Coding, and Robotics. We partner with other departments to offer AP computer science, Cyber Security, Networking, and other tech-related classes.
