Take a tour of SEED MD

Tour our beautiful 52-acre campus & glimpse at life in and out of the classroom.

Why SEED MD?

The SEED School of Maryland is the state’s only tuition-free, public boarding school, serving more than 400 scholars from grades 6 through 12. We prepare students not only for college, but for life—building character, leadership, and resilience in a supportive, 24-hour learning environment.

With entry points in 6th and 9th grade, scholars are admitted through Maryland’s public lottery system. At SEED, every student has the opportunity to thrive, no matter their starting point.

At the SEED School of Maryland, our mission is to provide an exemplary education and living experience that equips students with the academic, critical thinking, and social skills necessary to succeed in high school and graduate college.

Families are encouraged to learn more about our unique boarding model, hear inspiring student stories, and experience the spirit of SEED—before applying to join our community. Take a moment and scan the QR codes to explore!
