Kimberlyn Peal is an experienced education leader dedicated to driving strategic initiatives that enhance student success and equitable learning environments. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at The SEED School of Maryland, she brings expertise in instructional leadership, school administration, and culturally responsive teaching. With over a decade of experience in education, Kimberlyn has held pivotal roles, including Principal and Assistant Principal at Baltimore City Public Schools, where she led initiatives to improve academic outcomes, teacher development, and student engagement. Before that, she was an Instructional Coach and Teacher at The SEED School of Maryland, where she fostered innovative teaching practices to support diverse learners. Her tenure at Teach for America Baltimore further solidified her impact in the field. As the Managing Director of Learning Community, Director of Culturally Responsive Teaching, and Manager of Teacher Leadership Development, she championed equity-driven teaching strategies, professional development for educators, and leadership coaching to improve instructional effectiveness. Kimberlyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Temple University and a Master of Arts in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Passionate about creating sustainable change in education, she continues to lead with vision, strategy, and a deep commitment to student-centered learning.
