SEED SUMMER PROGRAMS
SEED students are setting their sights on summer, with an eye on opportunities for global learning, cultural exchange, and hands-on experiences. Last year, more than 30 middle and high school students traveled internationally through SEED-supported summer programs. READ MORE SEED link to story
This year, the school offering Summer Exchange Program to Brazil, where students will travel to Rio de Janeiro and Santana do Deserto in partnership with Onda Solidaria. Through homestays and community service, participants will build meaningful connections while immersing themselves in Brazilian culture.
Rising juniors can apply for the British Studies Summer Programme in collaboration with ACS International Schools, where they will study near London while exploring historic and cultural landmarks. High school students may also participate in The Experiment in International Living, offering multi-week immersive experiences abroad centered on cultural engagement and global themes.
Younger students can take part in Girls Going Global, a program designed to empower girls of color through international leadership experiences. Meanwhile, students interested in science can join the Jamaica Botanical Research Program, studying plant and animal life through hands-on research in Kingston.
For those passionate about service, Students Helping Honduras offers the opportunity to work alongside local communities to help build schools, combining service with cultural immersion.
Summer travel is part of SEED’s ongoing commitment to experiential learning. Through each of these programs, SEED students expand their perspectives, strengthen leadership skills, and experience the world beyond the classroom, making summer a time for growth, discovery, and connection.
